My computer's screen is showing a gLogin successfulh message, but the program seems to be stuck there, preventing me from doing anything.

You should not bookmark the login page for user authentication. If you want to bookmark the System's website, bookmark the page that first appears when you access the Nagoya University Portal.

pS:@

Although the Class Enrollment Registration Menu page appears all right, some menu items don't respond when I act on them.

`S:

A certain time period is allotted for processing a task accessed via each menu item. If you select a menu item at a time not within this designated period, the menu item's link is disabled so that no processing is possible. Check the designated period for each menu item in the Student Handbook or Class Enrollment Companion.

There have been reports that this problem happens very rarely with some browsers (mainly Microsoft Internet Explorer on Windows). The problem does not necessary occur with every version of Internet Explorer, and the cause is still unclear. It is still being investigated. Please check how your browser is configured referring to the Student Manual. If there is no problem with the settings of your browser, use a different browser. (A browser can be downloaded from respective websites shown below. These can be used just as well as Internet Explorer).

pV:@

Although I can browse other websites, I can't access the Nagoya University Portal.

`V:

It could be that the DNS setting, a network setting in your computer, is wrong, or that the DNS server designated in the setting is not functioning. If you are on the Nagoya University campus, ask a network administrator of the School you belong to about the problem. If you encounter similar problems at home, check the configuration manual provided by the company you subscribe to for broadband access such as ADSL and FTTH, or your Internet service provider. You could also contact the support departments of these businesses directly.
